Texas – Governor Greg Abbott presented the 2025 Texas Officer of the Year Awards during the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) annual convention, honoring law enforcement officers for their service in keeping communities safe.
“Public safety starts with our law enforcement,” Abbott said. “You don’t get thanked enough for your bravery, for your valor, and what you do for our state. I am grateful for you and your work to keep our communities safe.”
The Governor highlighted the role of law enforcement in protecting Texans and referenced the 89th Legislative Session, noting the passage of the state’s toughest bail reform package aimed at keeping dangerous criminals off the streets.
The awards ceremony included CLEAT leadership and law enforcement officials from across the state. The 2025 recipients of the Texas Officer of the Year Awards are:
