Waco Police Department connects with community during Coffee with a Cop event

Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department spent Friday morning engaging with residents during a Coffee with a Cop event hosted by Black Rifle Coffee Company.

Police officials said the gathering provided an opportunity for officers and community members to connect in a relaxed setting, share conversations, and strengthen relationships.

The department expressed appreciation to Black Rifle Coffee Company for hosting the event and supporting community engagement efforts.

Officials noted that the event was a positive way to wrap up the department’s first full week of 2026 and highlighted the continued importance of building strong connections between law enforcement and the community.
