Waco, TX – City officials and community members recently gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the Bledsoe-Miller STEAM Center, marking a major milestone in expanding science, technology, engineering, arts, and math education opportunities in Waco.
During the opening, visitors explored the new facility and learned about hands-on STEAM programs designed to engage learners of all ages.
A highlight of the unveiling was the permanent display of a Dragon spacecraft donated by SpaceX, one of only five such spacecraft on public display worldwide.
City leaders said the center is expected to serve as a hub for curiosity, innovation, and learning. In partnership with Transformation Waco, public programming at the STEAM Center is scheduled to begin in mid-February.
