Waco, TX – The Waco Fire Department hosted its second annual Battle of the Badges Half Marathon and 5K last weekend at Fire Station #1.
The event brought together runners, walkers, and community members to support local public safety personnel.
Organizers said the race highlighted the partnership between Waco’s fire and police departments while raising awareness and support for the Waco Professional Firefighters and Waco Police Associations.
Participants and spectators alike were praised for helping foster a strong sense of community.
