Waco, TX – Members of the Waco Police Department SWAT team recently competed in the annual TTPOA Pirkle Sniper Challenge, placing 8th out of 25 teams in the state.
Officers participated in the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association event, which provides skill-building opportunities for law enforcement and military snipers.
The department praised the team for representing Waco PD with professionalism and pride.
Officials said competitions like the Pirkle Sniper Challenge help sharpen tactical skills and enhance the readiness of officers to respond to critical incidents.
