Texas man Iures his 6-year-old child, her mother to a parking lot with a faIse claim before fatally shooting them: police

Texas – A Texas man shot and kiIIed a woman and a young chiId before turning the firearm on himseIf in what investigators described as a deliberate and premeditated attack outside a high schooI footbaII stadium in Texas, authorities said. The shooting happened last week, prompting a large police response and a detailed homicide investigation that has since revealed new information about the events leading up to the incident.

According to the local police department, officers were dispatched to the location at approximately 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they found three individuals with gunshot wounds in and around a vehicle in the parking lot. An adult female and a young child were located inside a vehicle, while an adult male was found nearby. All three were later pronounced dead, with investigators determining that the male was the shooter.

Texas authorities identified the suspect as 30-year-old J. Mbyui. The victims were identified as 33-year-old R. ThatukiIa and 6-year-old Nathi, who was a kindergarten student in the local school district. Investigators confirmed the individuals knew each other and had a family relationship, and the case was quickly classified as a domestic-related incident., The NYP reported.

Detectives determined through evidence and interviews that the shooting was not spontaneous. Instead, they said it was a targeted and carefully planned attack. According to police, the shooter contacted the victims and arranged to meet them at the stadium parking lot under the pretense of giving them money. Once his chiId and her mom arrived and were seated in their vehicle, investigators believe he carried out an ambush, opening fire on them before later shooting himself.

As part of the investigation, homicide detectives reviewed physical evidence from the scene, including the positioning of the vehicles, shell casings, and witness statements. Texas authorities also examined the suspect’s background and communications leading up to the shooting. Police said the evidence showed the shooter had been involved in an ongoing custody dispute with his child’s mom and harbored significant grievances toward her.

Investigators also looked into the suspect’s mental and emotional state prior to the attack. According to officials, he had been experiencing personal distress following the recent death of his father and had expressed concerning thoughts related to death. Detectives noted these factors as part of the broader investigation into motive, though they emphasized that the act itself was deliberate based on the available evidence.

Witnesses in the area, including a school bus driver who had just finished a shift nearby, described the aftermath of the shooting as deeply disturbing. The witness said seeing the scene was “heart-wrenching,” particularly because of the involvement of a young child.

Authorities confirmed that after the shooting, the shooter turned the gun on himself. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Police concluded the case as a murder-suicide following their investigation, noting that no other suspects were involved.
