Waco, TX — A section of University Parks Drive will be closed beginning May 6 as crews conduct a scheduled valve installation, according to the City of Waco.
The closure will impact the roadway between Bosque Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue, with detour routes in place for traffic traveling in both directions.
Officials said the work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 8, depending on weather and construction conditions.
City officials noted that while the roadway will be closed, the running trail in the area will remain open to the public.
Drivers are advised to follow posted detours and allow extra travel time during the closure.
The project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure in the area.
