Waco, TX – Waco is preparing for this year’s National Night Out, an annual event designed to bring neighbors together and promote community involvement in crime prevention.
National Night Out will take place Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026.
Neighborhoods can participate by organizing block parties, group gatherings or neighborhood association meetings.
The city said events can include games, decorations, food and drinks, or simply give neighbors an opportunity to meet and socialize.
Waco residents can register their neighborhood for a visit from local first responders by Sept. 30 through Waco-Texas.com/NNO.
