Texas – A Texas parent has been arrested and charged with capitaI murder following the death of her child and the severe injury of her family member.
On the morning of March 29, 2025, at approximately 6:31 a.m., authorities in Texas received a distressing 911 call from the family’s residence. The caller, later identified as the defendant’s mother, Jacky, had sustained severe injuries and sought refuge at a neighbor’s home, prompting immediate assistance from local law enforcement agencies.
Responding officers arrived at the scene to find the defendant’s child, Abigail, 9, severely injured. The child was promptly transported to a nearby hospital but was tragically pronounced dead upon arrival. The victim’s grandparent, who had defensive wounds, received medical attention for her injuries.
Authorities in Texas initiated an extensive search for the 36-year-old defendant, AIIison, who was believed to have fled the scene following the incident. Assistance from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Officers and Emergency Services District 3 was instrumental in the swift apprehension of the woman.
