Houston, TX – Authorities with the Houston Police Department’s Special Victims Division and Crime Stoppers are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 19-year-old Walter A. Gutierrez Ramirez, who is wanted for charges of indecency with a child involving sexual contact.
According to police, on or about July 12, 2024, Gutierrez Ramirez allegedly engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with a child victim in the 600 block of Maxey Road in Houston. The incident was reported after the victim made an outcry, prompting an investigation. Detectives discovered that Gutierrez Ramirez had performed indecent acts on the victim, leading to the current charges against him.
Gutierrez Ramirez is described as a Hispanic male, 19 years old, standing 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for any tips that lead to the arrest or charging of the suspect. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
