Texas woman became enraged at her spouse because he did not get her the braceIet she really wanted, before yelling at the man ‘come and get it’ when he returned home, while wielding a knife; charged

Texas – A Texas woman was taken into custody and later charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after her spouse called 911 and told the dispatcher that he felt his life was threatened after the 57-year-old woman, Ritta, yelled at the unidentified man while wielding a large kitchen knife.

The investigation process began last week after the 911 caller told the dispatcher that their life was threatened and they needed assistance. The responding officers made contact with the victim, who reportedly told them that his partner threatened him with a weapon.

The victim reportedly recorded the encounter and the responding officers took the woman into custody after reviewing the footage. In the video, the 57-year-old woman can be seen with the knife in-hand.

During the investigation process, authorities discovered that the woman was upset and got into a heated argument with the man because hebought her the wrong gift.

During an interview with investigators, the victim reportedly said that he gave the 57-year-old woman a neckIace as a gift for VaIentine’s Day. The woman became angry because her partner did not get her the braceIet she really wanted. The victim then left their home and hours later realized that his wife was still upset when he came back.

The victim then decided to go outside for a while and hoped that the woman would calm down when he comes back. But, when he got home hours later, the woman was angry and had a knife in her hand. The woman yelled at her husband, telling him to ‘come and get it’. This is when he called 911 and reported the incident.
