Waco, TX – Waco Parks is inviting community members to take part in a community cleanup event at Cameron Park on Thursday evening.
According to the City of Waco Public Information Office, Park Rangers will host the cleanup beginning at 6 p.m. on May 28 at Circle Point in Cameron Park.
The event is designed as a come-and-go cleanup, allowing volunteers to participate for as long as their schedules allow. No registration is required.
Organizers encouraged attendees to bring water and wear closed-toe shoes, with boots recommended for the event.
City officials said the cleanup is aimed at helping keep one of Waco’s most popular parks clean while giving residents an opportunity to enjoy time outdoors with fellow volunteers.
