Waco, TEXAS – The Waco Police Department, along with surrounding McLennan County agencies, will participate in the annual Peace Officer Memorial Service on Friday, May 15, 2026.
The ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Peace Officer Memorial Plaza in Indian Spring Park.
Officials said the event honors law enforcement officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, recognizing their service and sacrifice.
Community members are invited to attend the memorial service to show support for officers and their families.
The annual observance serves as a tribute to fallen peace officers and brings together local agencies and residents for a public remembrance ceremony.
