Waco, TX – Waco Transit System is offering passengers free rides on all fixed-route buses during a special “Free Fare Day” event held during tax-free weekend.
The free service will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, allowing riders to enjoy unlimited trips on Waco Transit’s fixed-route buses at no cost.
The City of Waco said the event is designed to help residents and visitors travel throughout the community while taking advantage of tax-free weekend activities.
Passengers can track buses in real time by downloading the free Ride Systems app on their smartphones and selecting “Waco Transit” as their agency.
