Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is encouraging residents to donate blood and support the department during the Battle of the Badges event.
Waco PD was at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest, where the Carter BloodCare Waco Donor Center was set up for donations until 4 p.m.
Residents can donate blood through Aug. 29 and vote for Waco PD during the Battle of the Badges competition.
Walk-ins are welcome, while donors can also schedule an appointment online.
The department encouraged community members to participate and help support local blood supplies while backing Waco PD in the competition.
