Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department concluded its annual Battle of the Badges blood drive campaign, giving community members an opportunity to donate blood while supporting local first responders.
The campaign was held in partnership with Carter BloodCare and included a mobile blood drive at the Waco Police Department, where donors were encouraged to participate and vote for Waco PD as their favorite agency.
The department also hosted a closing event at Black Rifle Coffee Co. on Aug. 29, marking the final opportunity for residents to donate during the campaign.
Waco PD encouraged community members to support the effort throughout the campaign, emphasizing that blood donations help save lives.
The department also competed to reclaim the Battle of the Badges trophy and thanked residents who donated blood and supported Waco PD during the campaign.
