Waco, TX – According to the city officials, District 1 Councilmember Andrea Barefield, along with City of Waco employees, recently volunteered to help build the exterior of a future home for the Moore family during the annual Raise the Roof event with Waco Habitat for Humanity.
The home is being constructed with funding from the W. Lacy Clifton Fund at the Waco Foundation.
This project is part of a collaborative effort between Waco Habitat for Humanity, the City of Waco, and local donors to provide a home for a low-income family.
The City of Waco extends gratitude to all employees who participated in supporting the Moore family and making a positive impact on their future.
