Deadly Shooting in Northeast Harris County Leaves One Dead

Houston, TX — A man is dead following a shooting on Sunday night in northeast Harris County. The incident occurred along the North Sam Houston Parkway, east of the Eastex Freeway, around 9:50 p.m., according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office.

Investigators on the scene confirmed that the male victim was found deceased at the location. At this time, law enforcement officials have not released any information about the identity of the victim or the circumstances that led to the shooting.

As authorities continue their investigation, westbound lanes of the Sam Houston Tollway were temporarily shut down to facilitate the scene processing and gathering of evidence.

Details surrounding the incident remain scarce, and authorities have not announced whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
