Gov. Abbott has reappointed Kris Coons to the Correctional Managed Health Care Committee for a term set to expire on February 1, 2027

Waco, TX – According to the statement, each approved program applicant may now receive up to $250,000 in total from the TTIR program.

State officials also said that all applicants who received an award during Categories 1-5 are eligible to reapply for funding under Category 6.

Those who previously received funding are eligible for up to $250,000 in total funds, which includes the amount of their previous award.

Applicants who have not previously been approved or awarded for the TTIR Program must create a new submission under Category 6.

Applicants must submit supporting documents along with their application to demonstrate compliance with grant and eligibility requirements.

The Governor signed Senate Bill 8 into law in 2021 establishing the TTIR grant program to administer $180 million in funding from the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund under the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
