Waco, TX – The City of Waco Parks Department expressed appreciation to volunteers who participated in a recent community cleanup event at Circle Point in Cameron Park.
According to the City of Waco Public Information Office, park rangers were joined by volunteers of all ages during last week’s effort to help clean and maintain one of the city’s most popular outdoor recreational areas. Participants worked together to remove litter and improve the overall appearance of the park.
Officials said the cleanup was part of ongoing efforts to keep Waco’s parks clean, welcoming, and enjoyable for residents and visitors. The city noted that community involvement plays an important role in maintaining public spaces.
The Parks Department encouraged residents to continue practicing “leave no trace” principles when visiting local parks, including packing out all trash and helping preserve natural areas for future use.
City officials added that every visit to a Waco park presents an opportunity to contribute to its upkeep and emphasized that small actions from the public help make a lasting difference.
The City of Waco thanked all volunteers who participated and said it remains committed to supporting community efforts that protect and enhance local green spaces.
