Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department announced its annual Memorial Run, an event held each year to honor officers who were killed in the line of duty and to recognize the daily commitment law enforcement officers make to their community and country.
The event, known as the Waco Police Memorial Run, will take place at the Cameron Park Redwood Shelter on Saturday, May 9, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Organizers described the event as a family-friendly five-kilometer run, welcoming participants of all ages to take part in honoring fallen officers while supporting the local law enforcement community.
Officials encouraged those interested to register in advance, emphasizing the event as an opportunity for residents to come together in remembrance and support.
