Waco, TX – Waco police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred early this morning at the intersection of 7th Street and Jack Kultgen Expressway.
The victim, identified as 64-year-old Samuel James Majors, was struck by a vehicle at approximately 6:25 a.m. while crossing the street in a non-designated crossing zone.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim injured. He was immediately transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have confirmed that the next of kin has been notified, and no criminal offense has been determined in relation to the incident. The driver of the vehicle involved has been cooperative with the investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time.
