Houston, TX – The Houston Police Department concluded Police Week by honoring officers who lost their lives in the line of duty while serving the city.
Department officials said a ceremony was held to remember the courage, dedication, and lasting legacy of the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to Houston.
The department stated that the officers’ service and commitment to protecting the community will never be forgotten.
Officials also recognized the officers who continue serving the city each day, praising their strength, pride, and integrity as they carry on the mission of protecting and serving Houston.
