Waco, TX – Construction is continuing on China Spring Park, Waco’s first neighborhood park in the China Spring area, with several major features now taking shape.
The 85-acre park will include a playground, splash pad, pavilion, walking trails, sports court, open green space, restrooms, nature play areas and improved parking and access.
The City of Waco said construction recently began on the splash pad, restroom and pavilion, while the sports court has been painted. The playground has also been installed, most trail flatwork is complete and major infrastructure, including underground electrical work and a low-water crossing, is in place.
The park remains under construction, with completion targeted for November 2026.
