Waco, TX – The City of Waco announced a full closure of Orchard Lane beginning April 24 as part of the 2025 Street Preservation Project.
Orchard Lane will be closed between Kendall Lane and Alston Drive while paving work is completed in the area.
City officials said the closure is necessary to allow crews to complete roadway improvements safely and efficiently.
During the closure, eastbound traffic will be detoured via Kendall Lane to Alston Drive, while westbound traffic will be detoured via Alston Drive to Kendall Lane.
Local access will be maintained within the closure limits, but through traffic will not be permitted across the railroad tracks.
City officials encouraged drivers to plan ahead and follow posted detour signs while work is underway.
