The Baton Rouge-based financial firm is leasing more than 6,600 square feet of offices at 3010 Gaylord Parkway, according to planning documents filed with the state. The new office is set to open early next year.

B1 Bank already has Dallas-area locations in Far North Dallas and Heath.

“We are expanding in North Texas,” said Jason Siegele, managing director of B1 Bank’s Dallas-area operations.

Kristin Grammar with NewGate Development represented the bank in its Frisco lease transaction.

Formerly known as Business First Bank, B1 Bank has more than 40 banking locations in Louisiana and Texas.

As of the third quarter, the bank had total loans held for investment of more than $3 billion.
