Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department announced it will participate in the annual Peace Officer Memorial Service alongside law enforcement agencies across McLennan County.
The service is scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026, at 10 a.m. at the Peace Officer Memorial Plaza, located in Indian Spring Park.
Officials said the event is held to honor police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and to show support for their families.
Community members are invited to attend the memorial service, with organizers noting that public participation helps recognize the dedication and service of fallen officers.
