SAPD promotes more than 30 officers during ceremony recognizing leadership and dedication to service

San Antonio, TX – The San Antonio Police Department recognized the promotion of more than 30 members of the department during a recent ceremony honoring officers advancing through the ranks from detective to captain.

Department officials congratulated the newly promoted personnel for their dedication, effort, and years of service that led to their advancement within the agency. The ceremony celebrated officers who earned promotions across multiple divisions and leadership levels.

Officials noted that the promotions reflected continued commitment to public service and leadership within the department. The event also highlighted the role officers play in serving the San Antonio community through law enforcement, investigations, and supervisory responsibilities.
