Waco, TX – A section of Interstate 35 in Waco was temporarily closed after a truck load spill affected southbound lanes near the Valley Mills Drive exit, according to the Waco Police Department.
The closure impacted I-35 southbound as crews responded to the scene and worked to clear the spilled material from the roadway. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while the closure remained in place.
Police later announced that the interstate had reopened and thanked the public for their patience during the traffic disruption.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident. Motorists were reminded to continue driving safely while traveling through the area.
