Waco, TX – The Waco Fire Department responded to a lighthearted call in north Waco this afternoon, where crews were able to safely rescue a cat stuck in a tree.
According to a social media post from the department, Engine 7 arrived on scene and helped bring the cat down without incident.
The situation drew some extra attention from a nearby barking dog, which appeared to be just as engaged in the rescue as the firefighters.
The department shared the moment online, describing it as “all in a day’s work,” highlighting the wide range of calls crews handle throughout the community.
No injuries were reported, and the cat was safely returned to the ground following the rescue.
