Waco, TX – The City of Waco recognized a recent promotion within the Waco Fire Department as family, friends, and coworkers gathered for a badge pinning ceremony.
Nick Guerrero was promoted to lieutenant after serving with the department for nearly 11 years.
According to the City of Waco, Guerrero is an active member of the department’s Technical Rescue Team at Fire Station 1.
He has also supported a number of internal programs and assisted with data research, along with weekly, monthly, and annual reporting.
City officials said the ceremony marked an opportunity to celebrate his service and contributions to the department.
