Waco, TX – Waco firefighters responded to multiple incidents across the city Thursday night, including a house fire where crews rescued numerous pets from the home.
According to the City of Waco, one cat was given oxygen at the scene after being rescued by firefighters.
While crews handled the house fire, additional Waco Fire Department personnel responded to a separate brush fire elsewhere in the city.
Officials did not provide details about the cause of either fire, the extent of the damage or whether any people were injured.
The City of Waco thanked firefighters for their work protecting residents and their pets during the busy night.
