Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is recognizing Commander Pedro Soto after he completed the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas Leadership Command College, a program designed to develop leadership skills among law enforcement professionals.
According to the department, sending members of its leadership team to the training reflects its commitment to professional growth, principled leadership, and the continued advancement of the law enforcement profession.
The department noted that only about 3% of law enforcement professionals have completed the distinguished program, making Commander Soto part of a highly respected group of leaders.
In addition to graduating from the Leadership Command College, Soto was elected by his fellow participants to serve as class spokesman, an honor chosen by his peers during the program.
The Waco Police Department congratulated Soto on his accomplishments and expressed appreciation for his continued service, saying it is grateful he has chosen to continue developing his leadership while serving the Waco community.
