Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department is encouraging residents to donate blood and support its team during the final week of the Carter BloodCare Waco Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
The department urged community members to schedule an appointment, while walk-ins will also be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upcoming public blood drives include:
- Thursday, Aug. 27: 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Waco PD Tower, 3115 Pine Ave.
- Friday, Aug. 28: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ascension Providence Hospital, 6901 Medical Pkwy.
- Saturday, Aug. 29: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Black Rifle Coffee Co., 2436 Creekview Dr.
The department encouraged residents to donate blood, help save lives and vote for Waco PD as part of the friendly Battle of the Badges competition.
