Waco, TX – The City of Waco – Public Information highlighted Adonnis, a 2-year-old dog currently recovering at the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center after being hit by a car.
According to city officials, the dog continues recovering despite suffering a slight limp and has been described as friendly, gentle, and calm around people.
The city also recognized crews from Waco Fire Station #1 for stopping by to spend time with Adonnis, giving the dog treats and attention during his recovery.
Shelter staff said Adonnis does well during crate time, rides calmly in vehicles, and is ready for adoption into a permanent home.
Officials are encouraging residents interested in adopting Adonnis to visit the shelter and meet him in person.
