Waco, TX – University Parks Drive was closed to through traffic near Pecan Bottoms after fallen trees blocked the roadway.
The closure also temporarily cut off access to the Cameron Park Zoo entrance from University Parks Drive.
Cameron Park remained open to visitors during the closure, with parking lots and park amenities accessible.
City crews worked to safely remove the debris and reopen the road.
Visitors were advised to use caution in the area while cleanup was underway.
The city thanked residents for their patience throughout the process.
