Waco, TX – The Waco Police Department celebrated a leadership promotion and welcomed two new officers who have joined the agency.
The department announced that Sgt. Rhonda Curtis was promoted after serving with the Waco Police Department since 2008. Officials said they were excited to see Curtis take on a new leadership role within the agency.
In addition to the promotion, Waco Police welcomed Officer Burris and Officer Jones, who joined the department as lateral transfer officers and will continue their law enforcement careers with WPD.
The department thanked all three for choosing Waco as the place where they will serve and protect the community.
Waco Police congratulated Sgt. Curtis, Officer Burris, and Officer Jones on their new roles and welcomed them to the department.
