City of Waco offices will be closed on Monday, June 19, 2023 for Juneteenth, city officials say

City officials are inviting you on March 25th at 501 Schroeder Drive to get rid of your household hazardous waste

Waco, TX – According to the city officials, on June 19, 2023, Solid Waste offices, and the Cobbs Recycling Center, will be closed.

City officials also said that residents with a Monday trash collection day will have their waste from gray and blue carts collected later Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

The landfill will be closed to the public but will remain open to franchise haulers only until 4:30 p.m.

The Waco-McLennan County Libraries will be closed.

Waco-McLennan Count Public Health District will be closed.

The following City of Waco departments or contracted partners will maintain their normal hours of operation:

  • Waco Transit
  • Cameron Park Zoo
  • Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum
  • Cottonwood Creek Golf Course
  • Waco Mammoth National Monument
