Waco, TX – The City of Waco is encouraging residents to consider adoption as the Pet Circle Regional Animal Center reports it is over capacity with adoptable dogs.
Officials said dogs of all ages are currently available and waiting to be matched with permanent homes.
The city emphasized the importance of community involvement in helping reduce overcrowding and improving outcomes for animals at the shelter.
Located on Circle Road, the facility is open throughout the week with varying hours and offers opportunities for residents to meet adoptable pets in person.
City officials urged those interested to visit the shelter or explore available animals online, noting that adoption can provide both companionship for families and relief for an overextended shelter system.
