Waco, TX – The City of Waco, Texas, highlighted a festive moment during its recent City Council meeting in honor of Cinco de Mayo, featuring a performance by University High School’s mariachi band.
According to the city’s public information office, the talented student group performed for approximately 30 minutes, providing entertainment for council members and attendees during the meeting.
Officials said the performance was part of the evening’s observance of Cinco de Mayo, with council members later joining in the celebration as the event concluded on a lighthearted note.
