Texas – Governor Greg Abbott updated and extended a disaster proclamation due to severe flooding and heavy rains affecting several counties throughout Texas starting July 2, 2025.
The excitement was made after various crises announcements were given July 4th, 2025, confirming that overwhelming streak floods had caused huge property harm and a welter of wounds and passings in different districts across the state.
The new order included a wide list of counties and signed off on the use of statewide assets to support local governments in response and recovery efforts. That also orders the suspension of specific regulations and procedures when required.
